Elementary

Elementary school sets up the foundation for a student’s success into their entire academic career, as well as their life beyond the classroom. Our elementary curriculum is designed to prepare students for lifelong learning by building a strong academic base while fostering spiritual and social growth. This is accomplished in a loving, accepting environment. Small classroom sizes ensure that each student can be given individualized instruction for academic success. The foundation of our curriculum, God’s Word, is taught and integrated into all other areas and activities. Our core subjects include Bible, Math, Social Studies, History, Science, and Language Arts. Our extracurricular classes include: Latin, STEM, Art, Music, Drama, and Physical Education.

Our educational materials are written from a biblical worldview that focus on academic rigor and encourage critical thinking—all supported by appropriate educational technology. Students are taught to see God as the common vein to all knowledge and education, while learning 21st century skills to impact their community. Students are given the opportunity to mentor others, and to be discipled and mentored by our staff and older students. They plan and implement service projects throughout the community.

The use of STAR assessments help us to see our student’s progress, ensuring that each student is being given the right tools for academic success.
